Bishop Lisa M. Weah, D.Min., C.G.E.
Servant Leader

Bishop Lisa M. Weah is a pastor, preacher, and leader committed to strengthening families, restoring hope, and creating sacred spaces where faith, healing, and community can flourish.

A Personal Invitation

Every mother who has experienced the loss of a child carries a story that deserves to be honored and a heart that deserves to be held with compassion.

The Vilomah Gathering was created as a sacred space where bereaved mothers can come together in remembrance, healing, and hope. Surrounded by women who understand the journey, we make room for grief, faith, and restoration.

If this is part of your story, I invite you to join us.

The Breathe Again Journey

Exhale — Release and Restore

Our first day centers on creating space for the body and spirit to release what has been carried for so long. Through intentional self-care experiences, quiet reflection, and gentle moments of restoration, mothers are invited to exhale the weight of grief and begin to breathe again.

Inhale — Worship and Impartation

On Friday evening we gather in sacred worship, allowing God to breathe life back into weary hearts. Through worship, prayer, and spiritual impartation, this moment invites mothers to inhale hope, strength, and the sustaining presence of God.

Breathe Forward — Legacy and Remembrance

Our final day is dedicated to honoring the enduring legacy of our children. Through remembrance and shared reflection, we celebrate the love that remains and the lives that continue to shape our journey.

This day also expands the circle of remembrance as we welcome Vilomah dads and our sisterhood of widows, recognizing that grief touches families and communities in many ways.

Together we honor the bonds that remain and the love that continues to carry us forward.

Is This Gathering for You?

The Vilomah Gathering is created for mothers who have experienced the loss of a child and are seeking a sacred space of understanding, remembrance, and hope.

This gathering may be especially meaningful if you:

• long to be surrounded by mothers who understand your journey
• desire a gentle space for reflection, healing, and spiritual renewal
• want to honor the memory and legacy of your child
• are ready to take a breath again, even if only one step at a time

You do not have to carry this journey alone.

“If your heart has been holding its breath, this sacred gathering is an invitation to exhale, inhale hope, and begin to breathe again.”
